With the increasing use of new technologies in all areas of healthcare, the profile of the healthcare professional is rapidly evolving. Innovative changes into the educational programs are needed to ensure that future health professionals can keep pace with the changes that eHealth is bringing. eHealth education is becoming a priority for educational institutions, and requires vision and reform in curriculum development.
IHTC stimulates projects to reform curricula of healthcare related courses. Current projects are focusing on the integration of eHealth knowledge and competencies into the nursing curriculum, and in the use of 3D technology for the learning of anatomy within the course on medical images and radiotherapy techniques.
